CampaspeOT is a business located within the Campaspe shire in Echuca, Victoria providing OT services to participants aged 18-65+. CampaspeOT can provide support to participants diagnosed with Acquired Brain Injury, Autism, Dementia, Intellectual disability, Psychosocial disability, Physical disability including sensory disability, Spinal injury,

and Aged Care

CampaspeOT is Aged care, NDIS, DVA, Worksafe & TAC registered. 

CampaspeOT is red level SWEP (the highest for AT/mods) and home mods credentialed.

Assistive Technology or AT

AT is equipment that helps you to do something more easily because of age, illness, disability or injury

Examples may include seating, bathing, toileting equipment, wheelchairs, power chairs, cushions & scooters 

Home modifications

Are changes to your home to help you better access and use areas of your home due to age, illness, disability or injury.

Examples may include rails, ramps, wheelchair accessible showers etc 

Functional Assessment & capacity building

Encompassing a complete review of what you want need & have to do at home, work and the community.

A functional capacity assessment (FCA), evaluates a person’s functional abilities and limitations in performing everyday activities. This can be impacted by disability, age, injury or illness.

Capacity building starts with an individual’s current function, identifies areas where they may require support or assistance, and then develops a plan to help a person achieve their goals and improve their overall function.

How much do OT services cost?

CampaspeOT works in accordance with the most updated Price Guide.

Fees are benchmarked by the TAC, NDIS and My Aged Care pricing guidelines which are monitored.

Fees are fixed and not negotiable nor are payment plans accepted. A service agreement with pricing is provided to all referrers/clients on our referral form. 

What can I expect from the OT process?

Firstly, a completed referral form is required. Please contact us to request one. 
Signing of a consent form &/or a service agreement (for NDIS clients) is required prior to commencement

The OT process may require several sessions and can include a standardized assessment, informal questioning at home/community, observation of you completing everday tasks, trialing equipment, taking photos and/or or taking measurements if required.
The OT will be required to complete and produce a report for funding purposes and these can be lengthy and time intensive.

Where do you travel to see clients?

Generally within 1 hour radius of Echuca. Anything further will need consideration & written consent to all travel time & mileage. 

Do you have a complaints/feedback policy?

Yes. We value feedback from clients, therapists and service providers. You can provide us feedback or make a complaint using the form via phone, email or the below form, which will be sent directly to us.

You can choose to remain anonymous, or provide your contact details. 

What do your charges cover?

CampaspeOT is permitted to charge for face to face time, Telehealth, travel (both time & mileage), reports, administration, phone calls & emails. This is outlined further in our service agreement & fees/services guidelines & aligns with funding body guidelines. 

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes. If a client is no longer able to attend a scheduled session, please let us know asap via email or via phone.

If less than 48 hours’ notice is given, the client will be required to pay the full fee (100%) for the session.

If a client fails to attend a scheduled appointment, this will be considered a late cancellation and the client is required to pay the full session fee. 

If a client is no longer able to attend a scheduled session and more than 48 hours’ notice is given, the client will not face any fees and it will be requested that they reschedule an additional session within two weeks if possible.

If a client cancels 3 sessions consecutively or does not show up for 3 sessions consecutively, then we reserve the right to put the client back on a waitlist until they are ready to engage with therapy. 

How long does a typical OT session last?

A typical OT session lasts approximately 60 minutes in the home or community, but session length can be adjusted based on your preferences and needs. Telehealth is also available.

How do I refer to CampaspeOT?

Completion of a referral form is required. The referral form will be emailed out to you. Please fill out an enquiry form with your name, phone number and email address. 

What fameworks & approaches will you use?

This will vary depending on the clients age, type of disability, injury and/or illness but CampaspeOT will typically draw on several practice standards, approaches & frameworks. More information can be provided if requested/required.

Appointments are available at this stage on Fridays during business hours. If this doesn't suit, please contact us.

Do you see children?

No, our scope of practice is adult & aged clients with injury, illness or disability. 

Do you have a privacy policy?

Yes. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act, Health records Act, Health Records and Information Privacy Act.

Our Privacy Policy provides you with information about how ‘personal & health information’ may be collected, accessed, used, stored, disclosed or handled

How long until I/we receive my report?

This depends on the funding body, the type of report is required & the length. Reports can take between 1-4 weeks  once assessment has been completed
